Lint buildup at the back of the dryer

Lint buildup at the back of the dryer is an indication of very poor airflow, likely due to a crushed transition hose. Periodic vacuuming of the transition hose and insuring the hose is not crushed when the dryer is pushed back toward the wall will help keep the air moving.
